One of his favorite lessons for both newcomers and seasoned builders is to start simple and build up:

“Trying to do too much too soon is where you get in over your head, in my opinion... Start with a block. Let's start with just a square that you can control with the arrows. And then we'll worry about these cool animations, right? Because it's that fundamental thing.”

That advice isn’t just for code, it’s for life. Steve believes in breaking down big ideas into manageable pieces, letting people experiment, and keeping things fun along the way. Whether he’s running an AI agent workshop or helping a friend troubleshoot, his passion is contagious: make it playful, keep it simple, and you’ll be amazed at how far you can go.
